Hi, I’m Sarah, founder of Slyde Body London. Slyde began from a deeply personal place. After having my first baby in my late thirties, my body changed. Hormones shifted, intimacy felt different, and then came a thyroid diagnosis that turned everything upside down. Not long after, I was also thrown into early perimenopause by 40.

The products I reached for in those moments felt clinical, medical, and hidden away in a drawer - as if I should be embarrassed for even needing them.

And I thought: why should women feel shame for wanting support with their bodies, their intimacy, or their pleasure?

I wanted more. I wanted intimacy products that looked beautiful enough to sit proudly on the nightstand. Products that didn’t need to be tucked away. Something that felt like confidence and celebration - not secrecy.

For me, midlife isn’t the end of something - it’s the start of a powerful new season. But too often, women are made to feel invisible. I want to change that. I want to open up the conversations that don’t get spoken about enough, and build a community where women feel celebrated, nourished, and proud of who they are - in their bodies, in their pleasure, in their lives.

I’ve spent over 20 years in the beauty, wellness, and fitness industries, and I know what it feels like to give so much to everyone else and forget yourself in the process. Slyde is my way of saying: you matter too. Your body, your sensuality, your pleasure - all of it deserves to be honoured, every day.

Slyde isn’t just about products. It’s about rewriting the story for women like me — like us. Women who are ready to take up space, to put pleasure on display, and to live this chapter unapologetically.
